How to use dual WhatsApp in a single smartphone

Many newer Android smartphones today allow you to create multiple user accounts on the device, or have a guest account. So, if you want to run two WhatsApp accounts on one phone, you can take advantage of the multiple users to set up an all-new profile separate from the primary account on your Android smartphone.

The messaging app has become one of the most essential parts of our lives as far as digital communication is concerned, WhatsApp biggest goal was to become a platform which brings you closer to your family and friends, it has now become a popular communication channel for businesses and other organization as well. However, there are people who don’t like the fact that whenever they are in between a personal chat, someone from the office bugs them for something just because they were online or if they share a status, it also gets shared with their work friends.

Here’s a step-by-step guide through which you can set up dual WhatsApp accounts on your smartphone.

Step 1: Install WhatsApp from Google Play Store and then register your primary number

Step 2: If you already have a WhatsApp account running on your phone, skip step 1 and go to your phone’s setting.

Step 3: Open the dual apps settings option on your smartphone

Step 4: Select the app you want to duplicate (in this case select WhatsApp)

Step 4: Tap on the WhatsApp option and then select install

Step 5: Set up the second WhatsApp account and open the secondary app.

Step 6: Now tap on Agree and Continue while also allowing WhatsApp to access your files as well as contacts.

Step 7: Now, you will be asked to register your contact number. Just remember to add your secondary number and then, you will be able to run dual WhatsApp accounts on one smartphone.

Do note that not all Android comes with dual app features.For these, there are several apps such as Parallel, Dual App Wizard, Double App and more available on Google Play Store Users can just download these apps to run two accounts of the same chat app on their phones.
