How do you grant browser permissions to a website?

I came across this issue while trying to enable notifications for mobile, browser and email on my helpscout.com account. At first I thought this was to be enabled via google chrome advanced settings (under content settings) which did not work of course. Then I found an easier way. This works for Chrome and Firefox.

Step #1: Navigate to the website asking you to enable browser permissions.

Step #2: Click on the padlock sign in front of your browser URL, you will see notifications at the top. To it’s right, you will see a button showing block.

Step #3: Click on the arrow on the block button and select “allow”

That’s it. Want to ask a question? Comment below.
